"Neotherm"'s Page of Comments Concerning the old Worldwide Church of God
The following are essays from a person (not me--GD) who was an employee at Ambassador College, Big Sandy in the 1970s when I was there. The identity of "Neotherm" will be recognizeable to some who knew him then, but he wishes to retain his anonymity in public.

[Herman Hoeh, one of the original four students of Herbert Armstrong's Ambassador College, was one of the main architects of a history of racism in the Worldwide Church of God that is in many cases only imperfectly acknowledged in Church of God groups today. Most victims of WCG racism have gone to the four winds. But one who experienced 1970s-era WCG racism--a Native American WCG member and "1-W" (conscientious objector) employee at Big Sandy when I was a student there--three decades later sought personal closure by contacting Dr. Hoeh in 2004, shortly before Hoeh's death, and in a series of letters asked Dr. Hoeh how he felt about this history and his role in it.
That is the background to this highly interesting--and indeed amazing--exchanges of letters published here on this website for the first time. The identity of the author, who goes by the name "Neotherm", is known to me and will be recognizeable to some who knew him then, but he wishes to retain his anonymity in public. Suffice it to say that I knew "Neotherm" when I was a student at Ambassador College, Big Sandy, in the early 1970s and have become reacquainted with him in recent years. I can attest that "Neotherm" is scrupulously honest and careful in his attempts at accuracy and his account is highly credible.
